1260C Ceramic Fiber Board
Ceramic fiber insulation boards are made of high-temperature resistant ceramic fibers that are bonded together to form rigid panels. They feature continuous service temperatures up to 1,260°C (2,300°F), though some boards can handle short-term temperatures up to 1,400°C (2,550°F).
Ceramic fiber boards offer several advantages for applications requiring insulation at high temperatures:
• Low thermal conductivity – Provides effective insulation and heat containment.
• Lightweight – Easy to cut, shape and install.
• Flexibility – Can be folded or conformed to fit complex geometries.
• Durability – Resistant to corrosion, moisture and thermal shock.
• Chemical inertness – Will not react with most materials.
1260°C ceramic fiber boards are ideal for lining burners, ovens, kilns, stacks, ducting and other industrial heating equipment. They help minimize heat loss, improve energy efficiency and protect underlying structures from excess heat.
Ceramic fiber boards are available in a range of thicknesses from 12 mm to 100 mm, and also come in modular sizes for coverage of larger areas. They can be faced with various metalized coatings to enhance reflectivity.
Insulation Ceramic Fiber Board
Insulation ceramic fiber board provide an effective, economical and durable solution for insulating industrial applications operating at high temperatures. They offer several advantages over traditional insulating materials, including:
• Higher temperature resistance – Can withstand temperatures several hundred degrees higher than fiberglass or mineral wool.
• Low weight – Ceramic fiber boards are 80-90% lighter compared to denser materials like firebrick or concrete.
• Good resilience – Resilient to thermal cycling and able to “spring back” after deformation.
• Low smoke generation – Produce less smoke than organic insulations in the event of a fire.
• Easy removal and replacement – Can be cut with shears or a knife and quickly installed.
• Long service life – Durable and stable at high temperatures, lasting for years with proper care.
Ceramic fiber boards are well-suited for high temperature insulation applications across various industrial sectors, including power generation, heat treatment, iron & steel, non-ferrous metals, cement, chemicals and more. They offer a cost-effective way to improve energy efficiency within industrial furnaces and ovens.
1260C ceramic fiber board provide effective thermal insulation, durability and easy installation for process equipment operating at temperatures up to 1260°C. The variety of available sizes, thicknesses and reflective coatings allow these boards to meet a wide range of application requirements.
